ABOUT US

Sardinia Bible Baptist Church was founded in 1959 by Pastor Jess Dailey. Pastor Dailey started out holding services in his home. As the church grew, services were moved to a storefront in Sar­dinia. In 1962, the church purchased 5 acres on Purdy Road and built the original structure. As the church con­tinued to grow, a nursery and new auditorium were added in 1967.

Pastor Kevin Mitchell served as the head pastor of SBBC for 25 years from October of 2000 until October of 2025, when he made the decision to retire from the pulpit.

SBBC was blessed with the providential arrival of Pastor Charles Siekbert, a 20+ year missionary to Uganda, who felt the calling of God to transition from missionary to pastor. Pastor Siekbert was voted as the next head pastor of SBBC in October of 2025.
